Hello!

It's nice to meet you. I am a Spanish Conference Interpreter, Translator and University Lecturer. I provide conference interpreting and translation services as well as interpreting tuition (Spanish, English, French and Italian). Not interested in these languages? Please contact me; I have many colleagues covering a wide range of languages! Want to know more about myself? Please, take a look at the tabs below or even better, contact me to arrange a meeting or a call if you don’t feel like reading too much...
I was born in sunny Málaga, where I studied a Degree in Translation and Interpreting (including 1 year of study as a Erasmus student at the University of Greenwich, London, where I studied French, Italian and English).

I then moved to not so sunny London, where I continued training as a Translator and Conference Interpreter.
I studied the Diploma in Translation Course at the University of Westminster, where I also went on to study and graduated from the European Masters in Conference Interpreting (EMCI).

Please, keep an eye on this section every now and then as I strongly believe in career development to continually update my skills and keep myself in the loop, so there is more to come!
I have worked as a freelance translator since 2006 and as a freelance conference interpreter since 2010. Curiosity doesn’t always kill the cat, please check the sections below!

Conference Interpreting
I offer conference interpreting services from English, French and Italian into Spanish, and from Spanish into English.
Not interested in this language combination? Please contact me; I have many colleagues covering a wide range of languages!

I have worked as a freelance conference interpreter since 2010. After graduating from the European Masters in Conference Interpreting (EMCI), I had the opportunity to interpret every single day for two months for the International Masters in Development Studies, in Geneva, where I acquired a broad experience, specialising in Development. It was after that I started working for both agencies and direct clients, including the following:

I have worked as a freelance translator since 2006, working for both agencies and direct clients. I am a proficient user of Trados Studio and I am able to manage multilingual projects and translation teams, combining the experience of years translating with a philosophy of continuous career development. Languages change every day and translators need to keep themselves up to date!

Interpreting Tuition
I have been working as a University Lecturer at the following Universities:

University of Westminster: Visiting Lecturer since 2010, teaching the following modules:

Lecturer French > Spanish Translation Module (September 2010 – June 2011).
Lecturer English > Spanish Consecutive Interpreting Module (September 2010 – present).
Thesis Supervisor (December 2011 – September 2012).
Lecturer English > Spanish Simultaneous Interpreting Module (September 2013 – present).

University of Surrey: Associate Tutor since September 2013 on the MA in Business Translation with Interpreting:

In addition to this, I offer private tuition in interpreting, which is something I really enjoy, as it gives you the opportunity to focus on one person, and create bespoke sessions, allowing the students to make incredible progress in just a few hours.
I love what I do, my job is my vocation. However, I believe that you can have more than one vocation and several interests. I am very much into art (I am now attending a sculpting course), design, salsa dancing and sports.
